Hi there! I’m Susan Hoskins, the heart behind Sparta Piano Lessons.

Music has been part of my life for as long as I can remember — I’ve played piano for many years, and it still fills my days with joy, creativity, and connection.

Over the years, I’ve had the honor of playing for four different churches in the Sparta and La Crosse area, sharing music that brings people together and lifts spirits.

I’ve also been teaching piano for more than 10 years, helping students of all ages discover their musical voice. Nothing makes me happier than seeing someone light up when they play a song they love for the first time!

I truly love all types of music — from classical to country, pop to praise — and I believe every style has something special to teach us. My lessons are all about joy, patience, and progress at your own pace.
